Hey everyone! I am Derin, Co-head of Events division in BSDSA. My interest for data science began in high school so I became a part of BSDSA as soon as I started Bocconi. I like connecting with people whom I share the same interests.

Outside BSDSA and Bocconi, I like sailing, running or basically any outdoor activity. I hope to see you in our organization and can’t wait to meet you all!

Hello! I am Beatrice, 3rd year BIEF student and Head of the Publications division. As I’ve progressed through my education at Bocconi, I have become increasingly convinced of the crucial role that data science already plays and will continue to play in our personal and professional lives. I therefore think it is essential for everyone to understand its basics, learn about its applications, and be able to recognise realistic claims from myths. 

I am thus thrilled to embark on this journey with the Publications division and give my contribution to closing these dangerous gaps between expertise and unfamiliriaty.

Hi guys! I am Sofro, Co-head of Research and mostly seen as an “IT guy”. I consider myself more of a dreamer, but you will get to make your own opinion :)). 

For a bit of background, I have worked as a Backend Developer and for the past year I have taken an interest in Neural Networks and Artificial Intelligence. I love start-ups, building stuff and helping others, so I will try to find these kinds of opportunities this year for the entire association. Looking forward to meet you all and do all kinds of projects together!

Hi Team! I'm Damir, one of the co-heads of the Research division at BSDSA. I have a passion for diving deep into new ideas, especially in the realms of tech and innovation. Whether it's collaborating on exciting projects or brainstorming the next big thing, I'm all in.

My academic journey as a BEMACS student has sparked a strong passion for statistical computation, data science, and machine learning—areas where I believe the future of research and innovation lies.
